It was love at first sight when I spotted this cut-out shoulder tee while shopping in the Philippines. I pretty much yanked mom over, subtly pointed at the mannequin wearing the shirt, and said, "That one."
Haha, she helped me haggle the vendor down, and I walked away with not only this mocha colored shirt, but a navy one as well. I ended up picking a lot of solid, neutral colored tops from this trip - that's something recent that I'm starting to embrace more. Simplicity with key details can make for lovely outfits.
Anyway, this is what I wore for my long (loooooong) trip back home from the Philippines. So yes, I've held onto these photos for a while to save for a day when I'd need them...haha. We started out flying from Manila to Incheon (that's in Korea, in case you couldn't guess) around midnight. Then when we got to Incheon, we had to wait for 11 hours before our next flight took us to San Francisco. It was an incredibly long wait, so mom and I explored the airport after taking a nap. Its definitely my favorite airport now. Its huge and everything is kept very clean. I found this empty waiting area and knew the lighting was just perfect for some outfit photos. If I lived nearby, I think I'd have my outfits photographed here all the time!
So then I wandered around on my own and tried to subtly take photos of all the incredibly stylish people I spotted. There were so many moments I'd think 'OooOoo, I love that! How did she/he think of that?'
Airports are a fantastic source for inspiration!
Although since I was trying not to be a total creeper, a lot of these photos are from the back. Not sure what kind of reaction I'd get if I went all paparazzi on random strangers.
