I'm back, this time with a smile on my face. All I can say about the previous post is...well, I treat this blog like my journal. And when I have such amazing readers like you who comment back, its like I'm telling my close friends what's going on in my life. So thank you all so much for the thoughtful encouragement and lovely words. They mean so much to me, and I know you are all right. I'll move on from this. In just another month I'm sure I'll be even stronger. The best way to beat sadness is by focusing on the positives in life - and there are honestly so many.
This is a typical casual look for me. This new beanie has the perfect amount of slouch to it, and I found it in a clearance box in the guy's section. Score!
On a side note, I am obsessed with American Eagle denim. I sold my soul the day I decided to splurge on myself and buy a pair from them. I'm on my sixth pair now. It's sick. I'm an AE denim addict.
I was joined by the adorable rascal, Billy, in the middle of the photos, who decided he wanted to dance with me. Of course, I obliged. Who could resist those chocolate brown eyes?
So I made it through my first week back to college. Its going to be a tough semester, but I'm really looking forward to it. This time, I'm taking a lot of classes that excite my interest and make me eager for class!
For my fitness classes, I'm taking Zumba and Pilates. Omgsh, they are kicking my butt. But they are so fun (especially Zumba!), and I already feel like I'm in better shape.
Then there's Biology, which is a 2 1/2 hour class, so it's loooong, but the teacher isn't too bad. He's a chill, laid-back guy and I don't mind his lectures.
I also have Psychology, which is a tough subject to tackle, but very fascinating. My teacher is smart as a whip and a little more strict than the other professors I've had, but I like him. He's got a good sense of humor to keep the class interested during his lectures.
Also, I'm taking Cultural Anthropology - which I'm really excited for! Haha, its a class about the different cultures around the world and examining their way of life. Which I am extremely intrigued to know. After traveling to the Philippines, I'd like to be more informed about what other cultures are like in this world. This planet is just too vast to remain ignorant!
Finally, I'm taking Digital Photography.
Oh my goodness, no words can describe how happy I am to be in that class!
So in case you can't tell, I'm pretty hyped about most of my classes. I think it's going to be a good semester. Here's to 3 1/2 more months before summer!

That's the one we saw! Mama. It actually ended up not being so good I was really disappointed. But I slept good last night! Haha. I love your beanie, I see so many cute outfits with them but I don't think I could pull it off. I used to seriously only buy AE jeans. I still do once in a while when they're on a good sale. Oh, I took Cultural anthropology my first year of college and it was SUCH an amazing class, it's still one of my very favorites. It's so cool to be able to look at the world with different eyes and I ended up almost changing my major because I loved it so much. I'm sure you are going to get such a kick out the class. (And oh wow, you dog is the cutest guy ever, what a sweetiepie!)
Word on AE denim. It's the only place I buy jeans from now, they fit so well and are so comfortable! (Are these the cords or the burgundy skinnies? I have the burgundy ones and I wear them so often, I was looking at the cords, passed on them and now I wish I hadn't!) You styled these so cutely with the sweater, you look so cozy!

Ugh, one thing I definitely don't miss about uni are the classwork, save for a few fun classes! Also, love your beanie (as a beanie lover myself), and digging your statement necklace! That doggie is legit ADORABLE, oh my word!
