I swear that song by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis was based on my shopping habit. As you can see, half of this outfit is entirely thrifted, and the moment my eyes landed on these quadruple, velcro-strapped sneakers, I immediately heard the line: "Sneakerheads will be like, Aw, (s)he got the velcros"
Also, listen to this cover of the song by Tyler Ward and the awesome violinist, Lindsey Stirling.
In case you can't tell, I've been wearing more casual outfits lately. Mainly because I've got PE classes four days out of the week, so while juggling my regular classes, I'm also dashing off to pilates or zumba in between. Hence why you are seeing a sports bra underneath this shirt. Hey, it matches the sporty look, right? Oh, and I'm wearing some leggings underneath my jeans...haha! So while it's extremely practical, I'm also just starting to prefer this style overall. It's entertaining to look back at old posts and compare them to what I'm dressing like now. Interesting how much you can change, huh? Who knows what twist my style will take once summer starts!
Also, today is my birthday! I turn 19 today, which is weird to say, because I only just now got used to telling people I was 18. Haha, man, my mind is already going...
I have to go to work today, but its a 5 hour shift, so not too bad. Plus, I wonder what my co-workers have in store...my manager told me last night that I would be the center of attention today...

The funky/sporty side of me loves those sneakers so much! I just thrifted some velcro wedge sneakers the other day too that I'm excited to wear...what a coincidence! I remember life being much more casual in college too-it just comes down to practicality-you look so much cuter than I ever did though..haha. And those jump shots are killer!! I was just reading Timothy the other night :) That is one of my very favorite passages.

Your casual outfits are so cute, though! And perfect for walking around campus. It can be hard to be super dressed up at college all the time--I can't really dress up but 3 days during the week since I have so many art classes and such.
